troubleshooting
The ring is not working on my site?
- Make sure you have been confirmed as an AFS Ring member.
- Make sure the HTML fragment on your frontpage is correct. Replace "id=1" with
your proper ID. It has been automatically provided to you via e-mail.
I
forgot my ring password, my ring ID?
We have it and can resend it any time.
I
am using frames on my site, and the ring doesn't work properly, why?
You need to adjust every link inside your HTML fragment like this:
The line <a href="http://www.afs-fr.org/ring/ring.htm">
Becomes
<a href="http://www.afs-fr.org/ring/ring.htm"
target="_top">
You need to put the HTML fragment in the
<noframe> section of your frame page so webring search engine can see it.
My
e-mail adress has changed, what do I have to do?
Upgrade your informations on the edit ring section.
What
are the requirements for a site who wants to become an AFS Ring member?
Check the Ring criteria.
I
still can not solve my problem?
